The Last Shadow Puppets
By Mike | May 15, 2008

There has been a lot of good music released in the last few months. Some of my favorites include new releases by Santogold, Portishead, Gnarls Barkley and Tokyo Police Club. Most of the previously mentioned bands were brought to my attention by the oh-so-hip indie rock blogs that I read. One band that I feel has not gotten the love it deserves from said blogs is The Last Shadow Puppets. Fronted by Arctic Monkeys’ lead singer, Alex Turner, I have a feeling that The Last Shadow Puppets debut The Age of the Understatement will turn out to be one the truly underated albums of the year. Definetely worth a listen in my humble opinion.
